A little general information about how Roger's pieces are framed.
 
The keys are mounted to acid free  conservation grade velvet textured mats.  Then a 2nd conservation mat is added.  The frames are hand built and glass is cut and added.  The back of each piece has a written abbreviated history of piano keys and scrimshaw and then a biography of Roger VanBoxtel.  Plus a hanger is on the back and two small bumpers to to level the piece.
