Hawaii's state fish.  In January 2006 a boy enlightened his state representative that the Humu's designation as Hawaii's state fish had expired.  In May 2006 legislation officially permanently reinstated the Humu as Hawaii's state fish thanks to 6 year old Joel Itomura's action.  This is when we started scrimshawing the Humu or trigger fish as a subject.
